Dwayne Pickett

Dr. Dwayne K. Pickett, Sr. has been  senior pastor of New Jerusalem Church of Jackson, MS since March 1996. He has been married to Tracy Evans of Laurel, MS for over 32 years.  The Picketts have five sons. In addition to preaching and teaching weekly at New Jerusalem, Pastor Pickett has served as a guest preacher nationally and internationally.  He has trained leaders for churches, businesses, and foreign governments. Past service includes his roles as Executive Director of the General Missionary Baptist State Convention Youth Department and Director of Christian Education for the Southern Regional Youth Conference.
