Attorney Justis Gibbs is an associate at GibbsTravis PLLC where he focuses his work on alternative dispute resolution and premises liability within the Greater Jackson area. Attorney Gibbs currently serves on the Mississippi Democratic Party's State Executive committee and has been a member of the Young Democrats and 2nd Congressional Democrats since 2020. While studying at Howard University, Attorney Gibbs worked with groups including NARAL Pro-Choice America and HIPO-Sickle Cell Research and co-founded Howard United's Political Action Committee.
Attorney Gibbs is a graduate of the 2023 cohort of Leadership Greater Jackson and a brother of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. He also serves the legal community as a committee member for the Mississippi Bar Association, Mississippi Bar YLD Division, Capitol Area Bar Association, and Jackson Young Lawyers.
