Synarus Green

Synarus Green, a proud public school graduate , holds his B.S. in Criminal Justice and M.S. in Education from Jackson State University and his M.BA. from the Millsaps College Else School of Business. Synarus is a criminal justice system practitioner and consultant, with over (25) years of experience working at the local, county, state and federal levels of government. A federally trained and certified law enforcement officer, Synarus served as a professional staffer to the U.S. Committee on Homeland Security and as a legislative aide to U.S. Congressman Bennie G. Thompson. Synarus served as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Director of Legislative Affairs for the City of Jackson (MS). As President and CEO of Green Consulting Group LLC, Synarus served as the federal liaison and compliance coordinator to the U.S. Department of Justice under the Hinds County Jails’ Consent Decree. Synarus is currently a consultant with the U.S. DOJ - National Institute of Corrections.

My past personal, professional and civic experiences have enabled me to become uniquely qualified to represent the people of District 72; potential currently needed in the Mississippi Legislature. By running for office, I can have a greater platform to advocate for policies and initiatives that align with the values of the residents of District 72 and help improve the lives of all Mississippians.
